When thinking of cities or towns in Ireland there’s a good chance that a small Gaelic speaking fishing town on the tip of a peninsula named Dingle is not one of the first places that pop into your head. But Dingle, Ireland might be one of the best hidden treasures I’ve ever come across.
Some cities are known for their food, some cities are known for their sights, and some cities are known for their ability to keep you buzzed 24/7 and partying for almost every waking hour that you’re there. Budapest, Hungary is surely one of those places.
Budapest is very well known for their Thermal Baths, Sparty, Sziget Festival, and Ruin Pubs. However one of their funnest and most adventurous activities still seems to be bit of a hidden treasure(literally). Those same hot springs that supply the thermal baths have also formed miles and miles of caves under Buda.
There are many places in the world that you hear a lot of people talk about and you wonder “Is that place really that great?” Some of them don’t live up to the hype and some of them are completely worth every bit of hype it gets. Paris is definitely worth all of the hype.
Visiting a cemetery might not be on the top of too many people’s lists for things they want to see when they visit a new place. Regardless, if you’re in Budapest, Hungary the Kerepesi Cemetery is an absolute Must-See!
